Do you not have a clue what mIRC is?? Well, I am here to help. mIRC is Internet Relay Chat. It is where you can go to talk about just anything there possibly is. The best server to connect to is DALNET. Once you get mIRC, the best thing to do is read the help file. You will then get a better understanding of how it works. On mIRC, you can have something called a FServe or FServ. (This means file serve. This is where people can have other people get copies of whatever is on their hard drive. In this case it is mp3s. Locators are used for searching mp3s. In a channel you type for example: @Locator DMX. Then people who are using a locator will automatically send you a msg of what search results they have. Then you copy and paste what you found into the channel you are in. Another thing is FTPs or File Transfer Protocol. You will need a FTP program to use this way of getting things. People usually give you the location, login, pass, and port. They also have rules like no hammering. This means don't repeatedly try to login the FTP site if you can't get on. (This useally happens when the limit of people are logged in.) You can find a FTP program in the downloads section. You can also find many scripts you can use in the script section.
